Transmission: Automatic Color:Blue Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.431 reviews) This is not a perfect car but it is a great value for commuting. It has a surprising amount of space for its size, both interior and cargo, and handles pretty well. I wouldn't want to have 4 adults and luggage in there for a long road trip, but packing around the family is no problem. It's a little light on power but I still can maintain highway speed going uphill. So far (~10,000 miles since I've had it, almost 60,000 overall) it has been reliable, no repairs needed. It's reasonably fun to drive and I get 34-35mpg (regular fuel) on the highway. Biggest downside is technology - the radio is bad and the speakers are average at best. No temperature reading (engine, cabin or outside) and no separate controls for anything for passengers.

Transmission: Manual 5 Speed Color:Gray Interior Color: Black Average Vehicle Review: (4.431 reviews) This car may not be the best looking or very stylish inside and out, but for a car at its price, it has great safety rating numbers, seatbelts, and a lot of different airbags that make it so (I can attest to the airbag and safety when I had this model before from 2010 until 2014 when it was totaled in an accident. It protected me well). It also gets great gas mileage, has a very roomy, comfortable cabin for its compact sedan size, large trunk space, Great stereo system and speaker volume balance, fog lights, chrome door handles, steering wheel cruise control and stereo system controls, Auxillary plug in for iPod or phone music, charging power jack, cigarette lighter, spare tire with jack and tools, and traction control. Not bad for winter .

Value for Money

2010 Elantra is a great vehicle, if you want to use it on a daily basis for about 30-40 miles of running. Mileage is great around 24MPG in City limits and 27MPG on highways. It completes all the requirements from a Compact Car. Space is not a concern at all. There is ample space to store small things and boot is also quite good. Engine Noise is also very minimal as compared to Sentra or Corolla while gearing it from 0-40Mph. Takes around 4-5 seconds to reach that which is good considering the engine capacity. Gives the feeling of a sedan at the back having all the features. It would be a great buy if you are aiming for the compact car and trust me hyundai cars are no less than Toyotas and Nissans if for the same thing you are planning to pay a higher price just for the brand name.

Good car for the model year at the price
