Used 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring SE in Dulles, VA for Sale
Reviews for 2011 Hyundai Elantra
Wished I could trade it in now
It's loud. It rides hard and you feel every pebble in the road. Seats are horrible for long distance driving. Everybody who rides in my car, including me, developed a pain in their rib cage and back.
2011 Elantra Gets 40 mpg
My wife wanted a Hyundai Elantra after she drover our daughter's Elantra. The seats cradle you in comfort, the motor purrs softly, the road noise level is low, and the stereo system can accommodate all of today's media options. The car handles like a go-kart on rails. We traded our 2001 Jeep Cherokee (15 mpg) for the Elantra (40 mpg highway, 29 mpg around town) and got we thought was a fair trade value from Carmax. My wife needed a car that does not eat gas because we live next to Mount Vernon, and she sells new homes for a builder in Fredericksburg..... 45 miles each way. The Jeep burned 3 gallons of gas each way, whereas the Elantra sips a gallon each way. Erick B. Mount Vernon, Virginia
Very happy with my choice.
First of all, every time I see my car in a parking lot, I get a little frisson of joy at how much better it looks that the other cars on the lot. It handles well, has decent fuel economy for a 2011 vehicle, and has great cargo space. The back seat has excellent leg and headroom, which is very important since my son is already 5'-7" and hasn't even become a teenager yet. We tested several different makes and models, and this was far and away my back-seat tester's first choice. For work lunches, I can seat three in the back more comfortably than most coworkers' cars. Maintenance costs are pleasantly low, as well.
