The Hyundai Santa Fe is the perfect vehicle for knocking around town, long trips, and everything in between. It drives great, looks great, and the AWD makes it able to go anywhere anytime. The 2008 model has lots of high-tech features and the console and cargo areas have lots of room for storing things. I especially love the stereo controls on the steering wheel. There are outstanding safety features like the many air bags and the electronic stability control. I expect that my Santa Fe will give me many, many years of pleasurable driving experiences.
The car is good. Interior is pretty basic, nothing fancy. I liked the blue lights at night. The door handles are pretty cheap looking. The exterior is sexy though. My car is white in color and looks sexy. consumes lots of gas. overalll it is an okay car. but when i can afford it i am going with a lexus next time
I have loved this vehicle since day 1. I was driving a Scion XA, and needed a bigger car for relocation and future family planning. I have had generous travel and drive time in a CRV and RAV4, the Santa Fe is bigger and quieter than the CRV, and I would say equal to the RAV4 -- for less $$. Everyone who rides in the Santa Fe with me is astounded at how well it rides, how nice it "get up and goes", and how comfortable it is. 2008 offered 2 engine sizes - I recommend the bigger engine. I test drove smaller engine Santa Fe, and the acceleration just wasn't there. Most of all, I feel very safe in this vehicle.
