My 2009 Santa Fe Limited is a great choice for me and glad I bought it. I never had one single problem after 82k miles! Only had one minor recall from Hyundai on it for a break light switch which I had no problem with. I really like the extra hidden storage space in the rear for tools or what have you. This SUV has plenty of head and leg room as well as plenty of power with the 6 cylinder. I just wish it had a keypad entry on outside of the passenger door like my Mercury Mariner was equipped with , since I locked my keys inside twice already and had to call roadside assistance :-(
I purchased my 03 Santa Fe on July 31, 2008 after seeing it on the website. Before i even drove it I had pretty much decided to buy it. After seeing what excellent condition it was inside and out made the decision even more sure. I had always had sporty sedan cars. This is my first SUV and I don't see going back. Driving it is so fun and knowing the safety features like front and side air bags makes me feel so secure for me and my daughter. And for an '03 being bought in '08 with only 31K miles, it was an incredible deal. It has so many features including my favorites - a sunroof and heated seats. So far no problems except the check engine light comes on if you don't tighten the gas cap correctly. I would totaly recommend any year of the model.
I just bought the new Hyundai Santa Fe and I LOVE IT!! There is a nice new body style for 2007. I think it looks alot like a Lexus RX or an Acura RDX. The limited version has very nice leather seats and a sunroof. It has great pickup and rides very smoothly. The back seat has lots of leg room. The cargo area is a bit less roomy than other standard sized SUVs, but it has a really neat compartment where you can store alot of things "beneath the surface" of the trunk. So, that increases the space without bulking up the SUV. I highly recommend the 2007 Santa Fe to anyone who is looking to get a great value!
