I really like this Hyundai Sonata, although it does not get quite as good gas mileage as I had hoped. In 2009 I rented one and drove to Wilmington, DE on one tank of gas. MPG was 41.
This one is getting around 27 on the highway and 24 in Hickory. A little disappointing. But still a nice car.
I'd been a long-time Honda Accord driver and bought this Sonata to replace a 2002. I know, I know. ALL cars have improved in quality. But this car IS quiet, runs smoothly, has plenty of zip on the highway, and -- so far -- is without any evident problems. AND, it's significantly less expensive than its Japanese competitors. If you're interested in a sedan that's reliable, comfortable, and inexpensive, I don't think you can go wrong buying one of these.
