My family and I drove a 1993 Toyota Camry for 22 years. It had 262000 miles. It finally gave up the ghost, and we had to purchase another car. We decided on the Hyundai Sonata. I was somewhat taken back that a car not nearly as expensive as a Camry of equal age and millage would be of the quality that the Sonata is. The ride is quiet. Gas millage is much better than the Camry. The extras available in the Sonata we purchased are above any other model we looked at. When we got the first oil change the mechanic even commented on how easy the oil was to change. Most of all I no longer worry that my wife and son may be stuck on the road somewhere because of our tranportation
Numerous recalls for the 2015 Sonata, software, brakes, airbag, seat buckle. When coming to a stop the rpm's rev from 800 to 1100 for about a second causing the vehicle to surge forward. No longer allow my daughter to drive it. Fixed for now but nothing but problems so far.
We are very pleased with out purchase.

We were looking for a moderately priced, mid sized family car. After test driving a bunch, we thought the Hyundai Sonata Sport handled and rode the best. Now that we have driven it for several months, we are convinced we made the right choice. It handles very well for it's price range, the ride is good, and it has plenty of power given that it is a 4 cylinder engine. If reliability is like our last Sonata, we will be totally pleased.
