Used 2008 Hyundai Sonata Limited for Sale
Reviews for 2008 Hyundai Sonata
My first Hyundai
Just drove my Hyundai home today and I really enjoyed the ride. Handling is excellent as well as the engine performance. The radio really cranks out the tunes. So far is has been a pleasurable experience. Lot of car for the money.
Great Alternative To A Toyota
I purchased this vehicle to replace my 2004 Dodge Stratus Coupe that was totaled in a vehicle accident in late 2009. I really wanted a Toyota Camry, but was dissuaded by the controversy over "unintended acceleration" in Toyota products. Until the issue was resolved and someone could clearly pin point the problem I felt it best to Stay Clear. My next choice was a Honda, but after being made aware of some design flaws in the year & model I was looking at I decided to search for something else. My research led me to the Sonata. The 2008 Sonata is a Comfortable ride, has quality interior materials, a roomy backseat and trunk, standard stability control, and has impressive value. I was immediately impressed with its attractive design, build quality and spacious interior. Two adults or three children can easily get comfortable in the back seat. This 2008 Sonata with GLS trim came with air-conditioning, full power accessories, a CD/MP3 player, a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, keyless entry, automatic headlights, audio controls for the steering wheel, a power driver seat, trip computer and a sunroof. I thoroughly enjoy the sunroof, the power seat and being able to control my radio/CD/MP3 player from the steering wheel. My favorite thing to do early in the morning heading to work (5AM-6AM) is to open up the sun roof with all the windows up and feel the fresh morning air breeze through my hair as I drive down the expressway. It has a Standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 162 horsepower and 164 pound-feet of torque. The brand has a high safety rating along with front and side airbags, something I've never had before. My only concerns with this vehicle is its Subpar fuel economy and the tendency of the rear brake pads to wear before the front ones do. Other then that I am pleased with my choice.
3rd time Hyundai buyer
This is our third Hyundai. Started with the Accent, then Elantra, and now this Sonata. We have always been satisfied. As our kids grew, so did our car. The Sonata offers plenty of room, even in the back for our son and son in law who are over 6' tall. It's roomy and comfortable. Lots of trunk space for shopping trips and luggage on road trips. Rated lower on appearance due to the dated look of the radio and clock, and its kinda plain looking for the interior console and display. We tried an 07 Elantra before taking the Sonata and the 1 year older Elantra's interior seemed to look more modern while the Sonata's stereo display looked like it was from the 80s, though the sound is great. Our 07 Chevy Cobalt has more console bells n whistles like a full digital menu with oil life, mpg, outside temp, etc. Sonata shows 2 trip odometers only. Not a big deal for me, but the hubby enjoys those extras on his car. Once it's time for another upgrade, we will definitely look at Hyundai cars again.
