The Hyundai Tiburon is a great car that is fast, fuel efficient, and incredibly fun to drive. Every time you push on the throttle the 2.7L DOHC motor pulls hard and the dual exhausts put out a nice purring sound. I drive a manual and shifting is very easy and the clutch feels great. Fuel economy is not the greatest but compared to other v6 motors like the Infinity G35 3.5L v6 it is much better. The best part of the vehicle has to be its sleek well designed look. The car looks very aerodynamic and every curve looks like it was just meant to be. I have been complimented countless times on how nice of a car it is. In conclusion I do recommend the Hyundai Tiburon if you are on a budget but don't want to sacrifice stylish looks and a fun to drive car.
I was greatly surprised by the car. The ride is comfortable and the car is extremely nimble. Turns are tight and the freeway rides are now fun. I highly recommend that you go for the manual transmission on this model. You get the power out of the engine and the car responds more efficiently. Fuel economy is as advertised by the manufacturer. If you want an automatic transmission you should go for the six-cylinder version. Be ready to spend more at the pump, of course. Overall, I'm extremely pleased since you get a lot of value for you money.
I've had my Tibby for almost 2 1/2 years now. Never had a single problem with it. Though I will admit getting a base model might not have been my best choice. The 2.0 manual is fun to drive but lacks the power you would think the car would have if you judged on its looks. Besides that and the lack of interior space this is a great car. It runs great, gets good gas mileage and handles nicely. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. It turns heads. It just makes me feel good. What more could a girl want?
