I bought my Tiburon in the fall of 2002, after my Camry died becasue I wanted a fun looking inexpensive car with front-wheel drive. The tibby fit all of those specs just right for me.
I loved every moment of that car, save for three:
1. There were some electrical problems with it at the start. The board that controlled the moon roof failed twice, and the passenger's window stopped going up and down. Both of these were covered the warranty.
2. No ABS standard in the 4 cylinder. I slid into an intersection after a snowstorm once, and caused an accident.
3. Torque Steer. The engine is not centered under the hood. This usually can't be felt, but if you go around right turns of off ramps, you can feel the car wanting to slip.
Other than that, compared to the other cars I've had this is one of my favorites.
Very Nice Looking Car!
