Hyundai products are not the quality of Toyota or Honda. The car is made of inferior metal. The car dents easily just by leaning against it. The transmission is affected by the battery. I did not know this and had to take the car in for a transmission check to a local dealer and was charged over $100 to be told this. I could not see paying $150 for a new battery so I went to Sears for a die hard battery.
The car is comfortable for the driver and looks good. The next car I purchase will be a Toyota or Honda.
The car looks good but very uncomfortable for distance - has blind spots due to sitting so low to the ground.
The power is not what you would expect when you see the car.
It's fun to drive!
2001 Hyundai TiburonSpeedy - Atlanta02/06/2008
I bought my Tiburon after one test drive. Great performance, lots of zip and just downright fun to drive. I've been averaging about 29 mpg. This baby is smooth and it's not uncommon to check myself hitting 80 on the freeway with no shimmies, just smooooth. Getting in and out can be tight, but is easy to maneuver and is surprisingly roomy inside. Controls and gauges are easy to read and get to. I'm a very happy driver!
