2006 Hyundai Tucsoncolt357_2000 - Fort Worth, TX03/20/2012
I was very impressed with this "compact" SUV. I'm 6'1" 229 lbs and find it very roomy. I have even ridden in the back seat and had plenty of room. Performance is good. Ours has the V6 and I have read reviews that found it sluggish. I find it fairly peppy. It's not a asphalt burner, but it's not supposed to be.Handling is great. It turns well, and I find it fits in parking places I would pass by in my Dodge truck.
I think I would have no problem looking at another Hyundai in the future. I probably would not have said that 20 years ago.
Suprise Great SUV You Bet The Hyundai Tucson

Quality Inside and Out
The Most SUV For The Money
And Still Very Happy With This Vehicle After Many Miles
When we had our new baby, I needed to upgrade my VW bug (could not get all the baby gear, plus baby and myself into the bug). I was hesitant about getting an SUV due to all the low gas mileage and harmful environment info I was receiving as feedback. Did a month long research on all the compact SUV's and this one stood out in every way. I love the way it feels like you are driving a sedan and the cargo space is perfect for strollers, baby gear and a dog! The gas mileage is fantastic and it takes the same amount to fill up this SUV as it did my bug. I am soooooo happy with this SUV!
