I was looking downsize from a large SUV for gas milage purposes. I wanted a vehicle that could haul occasional loads, was comfortable, easy to get in and out of, had a smooth ride, manueverability, stylish looks, got decent gas milage and was affordable. I found all of that in the Hyundai Tucson. The most important thing in driving is how you feel behind the wheel of the automobile. This vehicle gives me a feeling of comfort and confidence.
The Tuscon has more headroom than my former SUV and just as much leg room. This is important for a 6'3" frame. The dash board is clean, attractive and user friendly.
The V6 engine gives me ample power. It has great acceleration from a dead start.
I am very happy with my decision to purchase a Tucson.
I drove a Toyota Camry for over 7 years but now I LOVE my Tucon. I am a senior citizen and the higher car is easier to get in and out of and my older (senior seniors) friends love to have me take them home from senior card night at the church because they do not feel like they are lying down in my car. I really am enjoying the higher view and the space in the back for things is easier for my to load and unload. I miss a few of the fancy things from my old car (the compass--I am directionly impared) but I am going to find a way to have one added. But I do love the rear window wiper so that is a plus.
Good solid performer.

We have had the car for two months now and are very happy with our decision to buy. A perfect fit for a family of five with two large dogs to transport.
Some of the best compact SUVs today are efficient, with good power and handy features like a turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and even third-row seats. Check out this top 10 list, based on CarMax sales data from January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.
