I like this vehicle because it handles like a car. So easy to drive and maneuver. I can whip a U-turn in a tight space, or parallel park in the city (SF). It is fun to drive and I love the fact that I can plug in my IPhone and listen to my own music.
High quality- paint is gorgeous, no orange peel. Superb gas mileage. Crisp handling. Great heated seats, good lumbar support. Gas mileage exceeds EPA, cruising at 65-75 I get 32-34 MPG! It has a 3.29 final drive for good acceleration. What's not to like?

I was very impressed with this "compact" SUV. I'm 6'1" 229 lbs and find it very roomy. I have even ridden in the back seat and had plenty of room. Performance is good. Ours has the V6 and I have read reviews that found it sluggish. I find it fairly peppy. It's not a asphalt burner, but it's not supposed to be.Handling is great. It turns well, and I find it fits in parking places I would pass by in my Dodge truck.
I think I would have no problem looking at another Hyundai in the future. I probably would not have said that 20 years ago.
Some of the best compact SUVs today are efficient, with good power and handy features like a turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and even third-row seats. Check out this top 10 list, based on CarMax sales data from January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017.
