This car is just fun to drive!! It is NOT made for anyone with a family as there is very little backseat room. Also it has a very firm ride, and the rear view mirror takes a little getting used to. However when you start the car and hear the rumble you get an idea of how fun this car is. Smooth ,powerful and the seats are soooo comfy . 5 star ride definately take a long look at this vehicle it is FUN!!!!
Purchased my 08 FX35 a couple months ago and I'm pleased, with exception of one issue. The driver seat slightly rocked and made squeaking sounds sometimes (of course the issue wasn't detected until a week into driving the car). Infiniti diagnosed the issue as "normal wear" and it wouldn't qualify for repair/replacement under warranty. Turns out there are forums online for FX35 owners and this was an issue for a lot of other owners across the country! Other than that, the car is great, quite powerful for a 3.5 engine! I've taken the car for a 200 mile trip and it was very comfy (that's where the luxury kicks in) for the long ride and it didn't take too much of my full tank to get there (just over half a tank). The backseat is good to comfortably seat 2 adults; cargo space is decent. This "crossover" is functional for my needs; a luxury sedan-ride with a small SUV feel.
I was not sure if I wanted an Infinity or not, as I have driven BMWs for 17+ years. I LOVE it. While I am NOT going to say it drives like my M3 :) But for an SUV this is the best I have driven, and I drove a lot from the BMW to Volvo to many others. And with all the premium upgrades that were on this SUV I don't miss my 325 :\ Thanks :)
