Great car, great price! Huge power, sports car handling. Sports car cargo space. All around great car. I highly recommend it to anyone needing family seating without mini van storage. Will not disappoint.
My pleasure has only been 1 month in my hand and every time I get in my car, I still feel the newness, the comfort, and the clean lines of the beautiful interior. My pleasure increases as the engine gently roars to life. I feel the power as I engage the transmission to drive off. Then comes the best part, the smooth take off, the acceleration and my pleasure is complete Thanks to INFINITY for such comfort and pleasure poco
I've had my FX45 for about 2 months now. Traded in an Infiniti G35. I was in the market for a FX35, but ended up with the 45; it seems to handle better and feels much heavier when you drive it (it IS heavier due to the 8 cylinder engine). The gas mileage is about the same (I am getting 16 mpg around town and 20 on a trip). Also looked at Lexus RX330 and BMW X3 and X5 SUVs before I purchased the FX45. Drive - Love it! Traded in a G35 to buy this. Handles like a sports car, but also takes bumps and pot holes like a sports car. If you are looking for a cushy Lexus ride, don't buy this car. If you want a sports car in a SUV body, this car is for you. Also love the roar of the engine when I start it. Cargo - some complain about the lack of cargo room. It is less than some of its competitors, but is fine for me for day to day stuff. Blue Tooth - TERRIBLE! One huge downfall of this car. Infiniti told me to disconnect it and reconnect it. Still doesn't work. Person on the other end always tells me they can only hear every other word. Oh well! Body - This car turns heads and I get a lot of compliments on it. Has an aggressive look with a long front end and a wide rear end. Safety - Driving on the California freeways, you need a safe car. I feel VERY safe in this huge hunk of steel. Interior - seats are very comfortable; much more comfortable than the Lexus RX330. The integrity of the leather seems to be better than in my G35. Not too thrilled with the controls on the dash...WAY too many! There could be less of them and they could be a bit more classy looking (one thing I liked better on BMW). Sometimes less is more. Like the wood grain in the center, but the aluminum does not seem to hold up well. Also love the keyless entry and ignition. Blind spots - read some complaints about blind spots before I bought. I have no problem seeing cars behind me or next to me with my side mirrors when I am driving. I use the back-up camera when I back up. Has not been an issue for me at all. Overall, I would buy this car again. I'm glad I went with the 45 instead of the 35. This is my fifth Nissan/Infiniti product and I've had zero troubles with any of them (shall I knock on wood?). The only trouble I have is keeping a car long enough to take advantage of the longevity of the Nissan/Infiniti autos.
