I love this car! Previously I owned a 2004 G35 coupe, and while I thought it was a fantastic car, it wasn't well equipped for winter. So I needed to go out and find a car that could handle ice and snow and still fit my need to be sporty and stylish. Switching to a sedan was hard for me as I always have owned sports cars.
My concerns were quickly resolved after driving the G35x sedan (model is 4WD). With 315 HP generated from a 3.5 ltr V6, it has plenty of pickup and handling. Acceleration is smooth and powerful when you need it. Steering feels tight without feeling heavy. It's a very easy car to drive.
Outside, it's got a very sporty look. The lights and grille give off a bold confident look. Clean lines make this a very attractive car.
Inside, it's a luxury vehicle throughout. Mine has the luxury and navigation packages. This means it has African Rosewood trim, all leather interior, heated seats, navigation built in, voice activated controls, a built in music harddrive, a compact flash card reader (for more music), 6 disc in the trunk, 1 disc in the dash, and a hidden MP3/iPod line in. Bose supplies the stereo which is very good (I do wish it had a little more bass, but overall sounds fantastic). Other nice touches: 2 memory seat functions, dual temperature controls, push button start with intelligent key (you never have to take it out of your pocket). The car let's you know if you've left the keys in the car or trunk and won't let you lock yourself out. Sometimes it's nice to have a car smarter than you.
Visability is also very good. I never worry about people hiding in my blind spots.
The car looks expensive, but compared to its competitors, it's a real bargain. I highly suggest a look if you are in the market for a sports sedan (oh and by the way, it's been named top sports sedan 4 years in a row by a national rating agency).
To sum up, the positives:
- Bold, powerful, luxurious (this isn't your grandma's sedan)
- Many technology features that make your life easier and comfortable
- Best value in this class
A few drawbacks:
- Not the greatest gas mileage. I get about 19 around town (in stop and go DC traffic). Highway jumps to around 26.
- While there is a passthrough the back seats from the trunk, it's small, so only tall skinny things can fit through. Would have preferred one of the seats to fully fold down
Bottom line: Get it

Love this car!!! All the technical stuff takes awhile to digest, but it's worth it. I could prattle on and on about all the great features of the car, but some other postings here seem to have covered all of those aspects. Make sure you delve into some of the very informative forums that are out there to learn all you should about your car. I will say that I wish mine had'nt come with the Sport Tuned Suspension Package. I hope to move from Summer compound tires to All Season tires, and these 19" rims, although beautiful, are very hard to find All Season tires for.
