I bought the '07 G35 Sport back in June. I love the car. Boatloads of power, tight gearbox (6spd manual), great handling. I used to have a '99 Maxima SE, and the G is definitely a true "4 door sports car," as Nissan likes to say. It is much more refined than it's older version, and the VQ-35 engine loves to be run. The sport package adds tighter suspension, sport - bolstered seats, bigger brakes and rotors, and 18 - inch rims.
About a month ago my wife test drove a 07 G35. She got a print out and brought it home to show me. She smiled real big and handed me the paper. I told her to dream on. A few weeks later I sold her car to our son and found that crumbled piece of paper. I called the salesman, who's name was on the paper. I told him I would be there in 1 hour and I was buying the car. On the way home I realized that I had just bought my wife my dream car. It is slick, fast, quick, beautiful, it makes people stare at you when you drive by, best of all when my wife gets in it she smiles, a lot! I have never owned an Infiniti before, but you can bet that I will always have one in my garage now. Gigi's G35 rides extremely well, handles like a finely tuned racing car, it has incedible acceleration, breaks on a dime, and can U-turn in the smallest area of any car I have ever driven. If you want style, comfort, speed, and performance then look no further. A G35 provides all of that for a very good price! Drive one and you will be hooked!
Fantastic car! I've test driven every luxury AWD car available in this class and the Infiniti hands down wins the show. Comfort, style, luxury and most importantly the performance is unbeatable. The only drawback I would mention is my average highway MPG is roughly 20.
