2007 Infiniti G35Older Person - Los Angeles County06/01/2008
we bought it in March 2008 - Great car. Stays under control. Hugs the road. GReat when overtaking another vehicle. Looks beautiful, - that is what I fell for! The technology package is a must. Blue tooth is great - rear view camera is a wonderful safety device, particularly if there are kids around when you are backing up. Saves a lot of straining and stretcing the neck.
The car is all that is advertised about it. However, if you are an older person you may want to think about the following: gas mileage, comfort, a hard steering, and the feeling of driving a heavy vehicle (ofcourse, it is a powerful car)
It has given me an average of 19 MPG having driven it both on the surface and freeway. It might improve a little as I drive it more on the freeway. I am usually running errands on it. Think about where you are going to drive it more - mileage is poor on the surface streets.
I would have liked a more comfortable and a smooth ride like the Lexus. The steering is hard for me and the mileage too hard on the wallet! I find it more power than I need. I bet it is a very safe car though.
Again, a great carfor youger folks....
Infiniti really stepped it up from the '06 model...close competitor with the BMW 3 series, driven both and I can't complain about the styling or performance of the G35. The extra packages give this car everything you really want or need and I think are worth it for the money (especially the sound system). While I don't really use the paddle shifters, I can't think of anything negative to say. Driving it is alot of fun!

2007 Infiniti G35Chris - Houston, TX03/22/2010
I just bought this car after a long and detailed search and am completely satisfied. This is a fantastic car.
My requirements: 4 doors (I have a family of 4), 250+ horsepower, under $27000, great looks, 2-3 yrs old, and something more fun than the completely sensible Accord or Camry. Fuel efficiency is only fair, but great MPG was not a necessity for me.
My top 3 choices were Infinity G35, BMW 328i, and Lexus IS-250.
Car and Driver magazine recently had this car a very close 2nd behind their #1 car, the BMW328. A Consumers review magazine had the G35 as the #1 "compact sports sedan". It's not that small really - I'd say medium sized.
I highly recommend the "premium package". Lots of nice features.
