I did my homework and looked at quite a few cars before deciding on this G35x. I checked three rating services (KBB, NADA & Edmunds) and CarMax priced this car below all three. In performance and features it beats the BMW and the Mercedes and its all-wheel-drive sytem is excellent with normal traction control and special snow setting. I've had the car for a month and truly enjoy commuting to work now. The Bose stereo with Sirius XM satellite radio sounds great as well as the integrated bluetooth. The interior is very comfortable with all leather seats and nicely laid out dash. The only downside to driving this car is the tight space next to the seat to reach the adjustment controls. However, the front seats both have electric lumbar support adjustment, 2 memorized settings and heating. Rear seat legroom is a little tight but plenty of headroom. The trunk space is adequate but tight getting my golf clubs in. The rear seats do not fold down, but do have a pass-through opening in the center console. I was able to get 10 foot PVC pipes loaded into my car! Overall, the advantages of this car far outweigh the loss of my truck.
A lot of car for the money

Lots of power when you want it, but also very refined. And that distinctive exhaust sound! Before this one I had a 2009 G37 Journey. That was a very nice car, but when it was totalled in a rear end collision, I found a 2008 G35XS. It has a slightly smaller engine, the older 3.5L one, so about 20 less HP, but wow - the sport tuning and all wheel drive make a big difference in the way it feels and behaves on the road. In wet asphalt conditions, the RWD of my G37 would spin the back wheels often on acceleration. With AWD (the X in the name), you can practically floor it in almost any weather condition and take off like a shot from a cannon. The Sport (S) also makes it a more firm and agile feeling ride. Love this car!

I love my Infiniti G. This is my third one, and I will get another one when this one wears out. I love everything about this car, with one exception. The iPod connection cord does not charge the iPod. It only plays it. Otherwise, the car is perfect.
