This is my first foray into the Luxury car market....and an Infinity. I don't understand my I never bought this car earlier, wow. Even though I purchased the car used with 14,000 miles, it feels like a new car. Tons of power out of the 3.5 V6...feels like a V8. Very smooth acceleration and shifting (7 speed tran). very nice interior layout and finishing. VERY comfortable seating. Looks great, inside and out. Outside noise is a little loud, but sporty, you can hear the engine. I will be looking at another M in the future
This is our first "luxury" vehicle. Even though it is a 2006, it's styling matches he cars in it's class coming out in 2012. Interior space is great, would have like a larger pass through in trunk, but space is more than adequate for our luggage on a road trip. It has some features that are not obvious, such as warm up time. On a cold winter day, we are getting heat after just 1 mile. Smart cruise, in cruise control, if the car in front slows down, or someone cuts in front, the car automatically compensates, then returns to set speed as conditions allow. Lane guidance, wonder over the white line and you get a warning beep, headlights turn in the direction of your turn. A lot of technology so we purchased an extended warranty package to cover it. Engine runs at higher RPM than I am used to. Was worried about impact on gas mileage and wear and tear. After reading the user sites found out that neither is a problem, and the car has superior pick up, important when passing or trying to enter freeway. My only complaint is there is more wind noise than I expected, road noise is virtually eliminated. I certainly would not have bought a car like this new, but as a used vehicle, given its reliability and features it is a good buy.
This is a great car! The human engineering for the driver's area is excellent -- everything is right where one needs it. The car has a lot of pep, handles well, and is very comfortable.
