I was skeptical. I have been driving a big beemer and was so concerned there was going to be a let down. Well, the Infiniti has satisfied my expectations. While the comfort is not the same one gets what one pays for and this car was so reasonable. I'm not sure I would recommend an "S" (SPORT) since the ride is not as luxurious. But, the value is there. The gas mileage is another story. I think improvements could be made. It gobbles the gas. Overall, this is a great car for the price and should give me years of service.
I am very pleased with the performance, appearance and price paid for the Infinity. The car was nicely maintained and frankly it is hard to believe it is a used car. I took advantage to the extended warranty product and look forward to many years of pleasurable ownership. I would never buy new again if I can get future deals like this one.
Needed to change from my 2001 BMW 530 as maintenance costs were mounting and needed more room in the back seat for growing kids. You could really not ask for anything more from the interior of this car as far as comfort and fit (at this price level). Driver's seat is extremely comfortable. Love the sound system and heated/cooled seats in the front. This car has the Premium package with the DVD player in the back. The kids will get a lot of mileage out of this with movies, videogames, etc. The car drives nicely, and has the "sportier" handling I'm used to with the BMW. The smoother rides of the Lexus and Acura did not work as well for me. The only two drawbacks I see: -- The navigation system cannot be programmed touching the screen. This was upgraded in the 2008 model. -- The engine is noisier than I'm used to at higher speeds. Not a huge deal but a 6th gear might be in order for this engine.
