Transmission: Automatic Color:Silver Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.416666666666667 reviews) Beautiful interior with lots of useful technology; still looks new at 85k miles. Despite having active noise cancellation technology it is noisier than the 2010 Taurus SHO I traded in for it. V6 is plenty but fuel economy is a little weak at about 21 MPG over all; it does make up for this with a giant fuel tank. If you need a big useful trunk this is not the car for you (back seats don't fold down either), but if you want a car that can transport 4 people in comfort all day long this is a great car. The tech is abundant without being intrusive but the voice control is simply terrible compared to Sync. No parking sensors seems like a strange choice too especially considering how long the hood is. Nav system is top notch.

About the Infiniti M37

Vehicle Summary

Thanks to features and specs such as these, the 2012-2013 Infiniti M37 is a great vehicle to look into if you are in the market for a large luxury car.

Is luxury worth it?

This is a nice car with lots of bells and whistles. However, I am not convinced that it is worth it. Time will tell. The car drives well in standard mode, but is very sluggish in ECO mode. You cannot see all the audio controls when driving. I have to get used to relying on the back camera. You do need it because your view is not ideal when turning your head to back up.

Pros

  • Seat Comfort: This is a smooth ride.
  • Ride and Handling: This is one of the reasons I bought this car. I wanted four wheel drive and I liked the snow mode.
  • Weather Versatility:

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: The cost of premium gas along with the low fuel efficiency, makes the car more expensive on a weekly basis.

Infiniti M37 - Great best-kept secret

With the available space I'd say to anyone considering this car that it's stylish, handles well, has extremely comfortable seating, excellent appointments and instrument layout and I can't finish by not mentioning its outstanding sound system.

Pros

  • Technology and Entertainment: Sirius XM Satellite radio. Map and car system info displays. Rear retractable screen to reduce sunlight glare.
  • Power: Powerful V6 responds well to punch-down acceleration when needed.
  • Ride and Handling: Took it on a 3k mile trip to/from Florida. Comfortable and quiet ride all the way.

Cons

  • Visibility: Auto-glare rear mirror doesn't darken adequately for night driving.
  • Fuel Economy: Coming from a 4-cylinder (Nissan) to a powerful V6 Infiniti I knew I'd lose some gas economy. However, I was hoping for better than 24/18 even with optimal driving conditions and usage.
