I own an F type convertible V6. I compared it to Porsches, BMW M series, and pretty much any sporty classy car in the market. I needed it for everyday commute, but my wife has an SUV so I don't need it for normal practical purposes. The feel of this car is a blend of British elegance, American muscle, italian sexyness and it' has it's own character of a raw, fun machine made to make life better. The design is unmatched and it stands as an instant classic. When the owner of a db5 aston martin stops to ask you about the car, you know you drive something special. I don't think that guy asks the guy with a Porsche or a BMW M4 anything. This is just something else. Cons: less trunk space than competition, that's about it.
I have the F-Type S...Having owned a 911 cab, an S5 Cab, an e550 cab, a Boxster S, and many other sports cars I have to say for everyday driving, this is by far the most enjoyable. The sports seats are perfect, the dynamic mode not only drives fantastic, but sounds like a Ferrari. Throw it into sport mode and it's a beast. Great interior fit too. I get people staring and asking about it too. Really a fantastic car. Also, was the runner up to the 911 in 2014 for JD Powers initial quality. Great buy...
I have enjoyed this car immensely over the past year. Even in silver, it draws a ton of attention whenever I drive it. The engine sounds are incredibly fun. The car rides well, has tons of technology & is put together quite well. I have owned several German sports cars; this Jag is a pleasant departure that stands apart from them on the basis of its design. That being said, it is not easy to get in and out of, and, it attracts a lot of attention (which is both good and sometimes not so good!)
