2003 Jaguar XJRR. Sharp - pgh, PA02/03/2016
If you can find a well taken care of, maintained 2002 - 2003 xjr with less than 60k miles , for under $12,000 , buy it... As of 2015 , there is not a better bargain for a high performance sedan on the used car market. these cars as very quick ,ride and handle like a dream. They are known to have a bullet proof drive train. With proper care are , these cars will run strong well thru 120k plus .miles. Stay away from the R1 brembo optioned units, yes the stop faster, but rotor and pad replacement costs are astronomical. With minor perf. mods. ie: air intake update ,supercharger pulley upgrade, this car puts out 400 plus hp. Wrap that in jaguars plush ,finely crafted coach work, and you end up with an awesome ,well balanced, rocket ship.
Drive this car.
2002 Jaguar XJRTerry - Chicago Park, CA12/03/2012
I bought this beautiful 2002 XJR with 24K miles on it. The car is virtually new. With a 4 liter double overhead cam 32 valve electronically fuel injected and supercharged V8 this baby puts out 370HP and absolutely screams!
The XJR of this year came with only one trim package...everthing. She has navigation, sport suspension, heated front and rear seats, you name it.
Because of the incredibly low miles and the perfect condition, I payed about 50% over high book and was thrilled to get the car.
If a true performance sedan is to your liking, this is the car for you. (if you can find one) Good luck.
