I have owned several German sports cars; this Jag is a pleasant departure that stands apart from them on the basis of its design. That being said, it is not easy to get in and out of, and, it attracts a lot of attention (which is both good and sometimes not so good!)

I don't think that guy asks the guy with a Porsche or a BMW M4 anything. This is just something else. Cons: less trunk space than competition, that's about it.

Awesome Value for Money

I have owned three Jag's since 2002, the two current ones I have are an 03 S-Type V8 and an 03 XJ8. For overall comfort and highway drive the XJ8 is the best performing car I have ever owned. For performance, the V8 S-Type is the way to go. Buy one 3-4 years old with extended warranty and you are golden. The 300HP V8 is very fast and still gets 26-30 MPG on highay depending on how you drive. The torque will blow away all 6-cylinder Audi, BMW and Mercedes, except turbos

I had a s-type jaguar and I loved that car when I bought it 9years ago, but the XJL wonderful and beautiful vehicle. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
