We rented one in Fla. on vacation this summer and I really liked it. I started doing my research and decided to get one with all the bells and whistles. It drives really smooth and is very comfortable. I didn't realize you could get so many luxuries in a car without spending tons of money. It was in pristine shape and had low mileage. The only complaint that I have is that I got the 8 cylinder and it uses alot of gas. But that was my own fault. They do have 6 cylinders but I couldn't find a 6 cylinder with all the upgrades I wanted. Also the 3rd row seats are best for kids. An adult can't really sit in them and be comfortable for a long trip. Plus if there are people in the 3rd row there is no cargo space. The very back windows do not open either so it can tend to get a little claustrophobic. Besides that I love my car!!
This SUV is the Jeep Patriot's big brother, with seating for 7 (though 5 of them have to be small if you want to fit 7 comfortably), and the rugged 4 wheel drive system that Jeep is known for. It has a beefy 5.7L Hemi V8, capable of towing your boat, camper, or even a small horse trailer. If you need something with a third row, are a loyal Jeep customer, and have to have something that is capable both on and off road, this is certainly an adequate vehicle. The cons include a woefully undersized fuel tank (though the mileage isn't horrible for the motor size), a lack of interior space for rear passengers - the second row is comfortable enough, but the third row is made only for children, and absolutely no cargo space when using the 3rd row.
My husband & I decided on a Jeep Commander because it met both of our needs. The Jeep commander limited has all the levels of luxury that I was looking for, but at the same time has all the hauling capabilities that my husband was looking for. I have had the Jeep for about two months now, and I am really happy with the purchase. We love our Jeep!
