Traded a Jeep Liberty for the Commander. No comparison at all. The Commander has a smooth ride, and a nice package of extras without having to go to the Limited Edition. The only down to this vehicle is that the third row seats are there only for occasional use, as there is very little room back there. I must say that I also leave the headrests down (on the third row) or even the third row seats folded completely down or the view out the back glass becomes limited. Overall it was a great price and a nice vehicle.
It has been a good value since it is a nice roomy vehicle with over 110k and I paid under 30k for it. Roomy, spacious, car like ride and handling. I have taken good care of the car (body, interior, mechanically) and has a lot more life left in it. Has 4.7 V8 and wish I would have had the Hemi engine. I have done some heavy towing over he years and recently had to replace engine due to broken connecting rod. Good for another 100k now.

We love our Jeep Commander, we have two children and it comfortably fits us all with all the toys and items we bring day to day (stroller, etc.) When we have more than the 4 of us, we put up the 3rd row seat and it seats 8 people comfortably. I would recommend to any family.
