2014 Grand Cherokee Summit

You can save close to HALF off of a new Summit (close to $60K new) if you are willing to give up a few miles. Vehicle had around 28K at purchase and what is the difference? V8, ALL options (except video), Harmon Kardon sound, 4 wheel drive...LOADED. Entertainment system works well, common sense with knobs and large touch screen. We would have spent over $7K MORE for a new GC Limited with LESS features. Our sales rep (Donna) had the (known issue) Dashboard replaced @ n/c. Zero issues so far and the V8 gets almost as good milage as the V6 (get the V8 - it works less hard). 20" wheels are tight and firm on road, but obviously stiff off road. Luxury vehicle more like BMW etc. No contest with new (Kia, Hyundai etc.) even USED - Worth it.

Low-mileage Jeep for less than new

This Wrangler had a brand-new feeling. It was several thousand dollars lower in cost than an actual brand-new Jeep. Jeep Wrangler came with hard top but easily was converted to a convertible with after-market soft top for the summer. Great snow vehicle and great summer vehicle.

I thought I loved it.

I was so excited, I had a grand years ago and thought this was sporty lower cost option. I was so wrong. It rattles everywhere. I have had more recalls then I could have imagined, and overall it just seems small. I want to love it, and at the end of the day it's a car so I will keep driving it but it's not my favorite car I have ever owned. The nose is a huge blind spot I never noticed in the test drive but have caught myself almost hitting things because it's got a huge blind spot in the front.
