I have previously owned five different SUVs over the past 25 years (Ford Bronco -Eddie Bauer, Nisson Pathfinder, Mitsubishi Monterro, Toyota 4-Runner, Jeep Liberty) and I can honestly say that my Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L with Hemi engine is my absolute favorite. Up until now, the Toyota 4-runner was the my top pick but the power, speed, luxury, and classy feel of my Jeep has made me change my "favorites" list. The durability that Jeep brings is something I appreciated when I purchased a Jeep Liberty a few years back, although my model of Grand Cherokee is beyond belief and above all expectations. Upon choosing this model, I really didnt know much more than it had a "bigger" engine than average models and that it included many of the extras I was looking for. But when I got it on the road, it truly blew me away. No longer was I shackled by the size of an SUV and lack of acceleration speed when I needed it. Sure, my 8 cylinder 4-runner is fast enough (I still own it) but under the hood of this classy, modern looking country club debutant is a true beast just waiting to pounce on the next victim who gets too close.
Love my gas hog

Love my Jeep in almost all ways - interior other than leather kinda cheap. Could be better in the "places to put stuff" department - most glaring - why no storage on back of passenger seat? Not much room in the back seat or the cargo area and do wish the the instruction book told how to remove the cargo cover and wish the mirrors had automatic fold option and the nav system could be designed with a touch screen. And... what a gas hog - 14.9 on the highway but that Hemi is so sweet!
I do love it despite the shortcomings.
