The Jeep I chose has all the bells and whistles. I love the 18' wheels, the ride is fantastic. The leather seats and stylish dashboard makes this SUV really pop. I love Jeeps and this is the best one I've ever owned. I no longer need my phone or separate GPS for directions. My phone hooks up to the car as soon as I get in. I don't have to have keys out to get into the car, it just wonderful and it's only a 2011. I wonder what the 2015's have to offer over and beyond what I have in this Jeep. And I'm actually saving on gas with this SUV; instead of filling up every 8-10 days, I'm going 2 wks at a time. Didn't know I was going to save money too.
I recently purchased my Grand Chero. Limited after selling off my beloved 99 Laredo. The Limited is the Cadillac of Grand Cherokee. While I'm not crazy about the square body, and the blind spot in the rear while backing, I LOVE the round headlamps. The leather is durable, controls are user friendly, and over all is a smart, SMART SUV. Wipers have a sensor and operate when the windsheild is moist. Also offers Auto dual climate control, and vents in back to warm up the passengers. U-Connect is a breeze to use, and the 6 disk CD changer is awesome! The moonroof has two controls one as a vent, and the other a traditional-wide open "I wish I was a convertible". Sideview mirror defrost/dimmer and auto tinted rearview mirror are great when you have a higher vehicle or someone who insists on driving with their brights on behind you is a bonus! Tinted glass all the way around (even the driver side!). Traction control with the 5.7 liter HEMI is ALOT of fun and great for off road. This is my 3rd Jeep. I've loved them all. This one so far is the best.
I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Rocky Mountain edition a little over a month ago now (November '07) and I have already put over 3,000 miles on it. I love the way it handles and accelerates, and I don't think I've ever driven a more fun SUV than this one. Pros: Comfy seats, great stereo (was upgraded in 2004), handles and drives SO well, good gas mileage when compared to similar SUV's, laying seats down is easy and convenient, LOTS of great interior lights (which come in handy when I drop my phone at night!), love the roof rack, rear wiper, sharp styling... Cons: I have the 4.0L inline 6, and it is a tad bit underpowered I think. Plenty of torque, but passing someone on the highway isn't as quick as I would like. Glove box is tiny, but there's a good sized center console that makes up for it. Overall this is a truly great car, and I personally feel that the Pros more than make up for the Cons. No car is perfect, but I love my Jeep!
