I only get about 19 highway- lower than it is rated. That said, had mileage was not my top priority when researching vehicles. The liberty is wonderfully versatile with the lay flat back and front seat. I have the sky slider roof and absolutely love it. It's not extremely noisy when closed, but it is louder than a non- convertible top. I would recommend the Liberty to anyone looking for a versatile midsize SUV that is ok with lower gas mileage.

Jeep Liberty Limited

I am a 60+ year old male that feels about my new Jeep Liberty the same way I remember feeling about my first bicycle as a kid. I look forward to driving it to work and often make excuses for errands just to drive it a little more. I love the solid rugged feel of the vehicle and the commanding view I enjoy of the cars around me as I negotiate traffic. I find very helpful the ease of getting in and out of the vehicle. I enjoy very much the skyslider roof. With just the touch of a button I am transformed to the air and freedom of a convertible. I find I use the skyslider roof much more than I drove previously owned convertibles with the top down because of this ease of operation. I have not had the opportunity to test the vehicle's 4 wheel drive off road capability. I am excited at the prospect of checking that out during a cross country drive this summer. I am very happy with my new Jeep Liberty and expect to be driving it for a lot of years.
