Have had my 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport about 3 weeks now and I am loving it! I had loved the look of the Liberty ever since they first came out, so it was one of my top choices to look into when the time came for me to buy a new car. I had not driven or even rode in one before, so didn't quite know what to expect as far as ride and handling... I fell in love with it during the test drive! It actually rides much smoother than I had imagined. And I really love the way it handles. I find parking very easy. I also love the way you sit in it, the visibility is great. And it is actually roomier inside than I thought it would be, there is plenty of shoulder room and head room. There is not a whole lot of leg room in the back seat, but enough for an average size adult to sit without being too cramped. The rear cargo area is just the right amount of space for me. And the rear seats fold down pretty flat, which makes plenty of room for my dogs. I haven't had the chance to test it out in the snow yet, but doubt I will have any problems. So far I have yet to find any real complaint. I also have found the gas mileage not to be bad at all so far. Bottom line for me, it's a great looking car and fun to drive. Perfect for what I needed!
Bought the vehicle when living in Lake Tahoe. Snow drifts, cliff climbing and sure feeling on the road no problem. Comfortable with the little beast on the icy roads switched up tires to Yokohama all terrain. Drove in and out of construction job sites, rough terrain and had no problem with 4 wheel performance. Take it for maintenance and shop help is amazed at the age of the vehicle. Definitely a cool timeless style. The only down side for me is gas milage. Realistic is 15 city and 20 hwy. For surety on the road (height of an SUV and good visibility, I am super pleased with the investment.
I absolutely love my Jeep!! She rides smoothly and looks stylish as well. The only con I noticed is it's really sensitive. I tightened my gas cap and moved it a little, when I got in I noticed the message GASCAP on my dash. I got out and moved it a little and the error message disappeared. Gave me a heart attack! Haha but other than that, I'm looking forward to the time I get to spend in my Jeep liberty!
