This is my first truck. The ride is smooth and comfortable for the front seats riders. The passengers in the back have a good amount of room but the seats are straight up and for the long journeys i drive between states the ride takes a toll on the back seat passengers. Handles well. Even when lowered all the way, the back seat head restraints slightly obstruct whats otherwise a pretty decent view. The side mirrors are adequately large and window pillars are narrow all around thus the view is unobstructed, decreasing blind spot. Of course gas mileage could be better, but I'm lovin' my truck

Falls a little short of expectations

This vehicle is well equiped, solid and very capable. The heated seats and sunroof are pluses. However, the vehicle is very thirsty at the pump and the limited model can't really take the beating their supposed to. The tires that come with this limited model are not able to handle wet roads at all and it is actually quite dangerous. I am forced to place the vehicle in part-time 4 wheel drive when it is raining so I don't slide all over the road. My vehicle is only one and a half years old and the tires are already cupped and making road noise. That is with the scheduled tire rotation. There are only two tires that fit this vehicle. An expensive choice if you want to feel safe. Overall, I love the truck, but the issues I mentioned need some attention from the manufacturer.

Love my Liberty!

I love my Liberty. I've owned many SUVs, but none comes close to what this one has to offer. I bought the Liberty Sport with the 3.7L V6 engine in it and have always been pleasantly surprised with the power it has. Another reviewer said that there was no place for a cell phone, I find that to be no issue considering that there is a little "shelf" under the stereo that has a lip and non-slip grip where I put my cell. The truck is a bit of a gas guzzler, but that's to be expected when you purchase a V6 SUV. All in all, the gas mileage is on par with other SUVs of its same size and weight. I love the flipper glass on the tailgate. The sound of the muffler really reminds you of what a truck should sound like... POWERFUL but not too loud. It really rides like a truck and is capable of the offroading Jeep is known for. Jeep for life!
