I owned this exact jeep for a week, it had a few mechanical and engine problems that they said they fixed but it broke down 2 days later.

Purchased used with under 30K about 2 months ago. Looking forward to snowy weather with the 4WD. Positives--great room in the cargo area and back seat area. Drives very smooth. Negatives--easy--gas mileage. 20MPG is pushing it. Audio not that great. Concerns--feedback on the windows falling into the door. Overall--so far OK with the gas mileage making it just good.

This is a solid small SUV with just the right amount of conveniences like cruise control, power windows, keyless entry, security/immobilizer, and status indicator in the odometer area (for things like low washer fluid level, open doors, etc.).
The interior is adequately roomy in front and in the back seat with decent leg room even with 6-foot tall adults in the front.
This Liberty also comes with ABS and traction control which works very well on slick roads. The ride is comfortable without being too harsh or soft. You can feel like you are safe driving and riding in this vehicle.
Engine noise, tire noise and wind noise is noticeable but not annoying. The engine power is adequate for both city and highway driving but don't expect to win any races with any little sport cars.
Cargo space is easy to access with the two-piece rear access glass and swing out door. Although, the rear glass should raise higher to keep a taller person's head from bumping into it. The rear mounted spare does not block your view and is conveniently accessed if you need to use it or for occasional inflation.
The headlights and fog lights brightly light the road ahead for night driving. You will see and be seen easily. Speaking of seeing, visibility is good from the driver's seat.
Overall, this is a great little vehicle for a small family or an active couple.
