Transmission: Automatic Color:White Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (3.947 reviews) This vehicle is well equiped, solid and very capable. The heated seats and sunroof are pluses. However, the vehicle is very thirsty at the pump and the limited model can't really take the beating their supposed to. The tires that come with this limited model are not able to handle wet roads at all and it is actually quite dangerous. I am forced to place the vehicle in part-time 4 wheel drive when it is raining so I don't slide all over the road. My vehicle is only one and a half years old and the tires are already cupped and making road noise. That is with the scheduled tire rotation. There are only two tires that fit this vehicle. An expensive choice if you want to feel safe. Overall, I love the truck, but the issues I mentioned need some attention from the manufacturer.

Jeep Liberty A Good Choice

It all depends on what you're looking for, of course, but this is an excellent choice for a multi-purpose vehicle. I went to the dealership with the intention of buying a particular Santa Fe, but changed my mind after looking through and test-driving the Liberty. It was interesting to drive the car in light of prior reviews I'd read on this site before buying it. It's true that the heat to the floor is a little skimpy (crank it up all the way and direct it only to the floor is you want warm toes in really cold weather) and that the front center arm rest should extend a little farther forward. However, these are trivial issues. The car is put together well, rides great (but remember its a Jeep!), has plenty of room in front and back seats and cargo area, and is really fun to drive. You ride quite high (as in off the ground!), which is also nice. My kids are grown and out of the house, but it was very popular with them in southern Colorado in January - it was the car everyone wanted to take to the store and to the slopes. So far, mileage with the six-speed manual is better than the EPA sticker, with about 28 on the highway. It's just a very fun car to drive. I'd recommend that you at lest take one on a test drive.

The Perfect Jeep!! Amazing Comfort

The Most Comfortable car I've ever owned! I easily drove to Tennessee more than 10 hours with no discomfort! I recently had a horrific accident last mos totalling My Jeep. I hit a black Angus Cow @ 65 miles per hour! the car was destroyed, but we walked away from the wreck with minimal bruising from the air bags. the People at the Hospital said Unbelievable, that Car saved Your life! I am waiting for my Replacement 2012 Jeep Liberty to come in soon! i cant wait, Im sad to see it has been discontinued that year, because the Jeep patriot took its place. and its No way close to being , as Awesome as the 2012 Jeep Liberty!
