Love my Jeep!

I have been happy with my 2007 PT Cruiser, but as an old muscle car guy, was looking for a little more highway response. I also needed more room for a probable multiple dog adoption. I have admired the Jeep Liberty from afar since it was introduced. the 2008 model looks and acts just like the 2011 model, and has the attributes I was shopping for... 3.7 litre V6, higher stance, thus better visability on the road...and a little more respect, I might add, after being pushed aside in my PT Crusier. The particular car I found is a 2 X 4 Sport, so it isn't overdone with non utilitarian visual effects such as wood trim, etc. I have owned 4x4s in the past, and have seldom used the 4x4 feature, but suffered on gas consumption dragging it around. The big Liberty bounces a little on bumpy highways, but I'm sure that's due to a stiff Jeep suspension...I'm already used to it. It gives me the extra muscle I wanted with the 3.7 litre, and there's plenty of room for two full sized dogs in back. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase, and I look forward to putting 200k on it. I would recommend that if you are a Jeep enthusiast, or you are looking for a big mid-sized SUV, take a look at the Liberty.

2008 Jeep Liberty

First off, don't buy this car to save on gas. That would be the only draw back. Just took a long trip and did get about 22mpg on the highway. Otherwise, I have a 2007 Jeep Cherokee and was ready to get something a little newer. My 2007 held up great so I did stick with the Jeep line. The Liberty is a solid built car. Rides nice. Roomy. The seats fold down for large object. The front passenger seat also folds down. I've used this feature already for long 2x4's. We did some very low key off roading. The car handled great. I have the Sky Slider option. This is great. Wanted a convertible Wrangler, but that model just didn't make sense for me. The Sky Slider did the trick. A little wind noise on the highway, but well worth the feature.

Jeep Rocks!

Comfortable and a blast to drive! The sun roof is awesome, it has lots of room and is just a great family car!
