I've owned many vehicles over the years, including one other Jeep - a 1995 Wrangler. This 2006 Wrangler Unlimited is easily my favorite vehicle ever owned by far. Comfortable, way more quiet than old Wranglers, and I have zero doubts about the long-term capabilities of the 4.0 engine. I'll always own a Wrangler - they are a gateway to fun.

I'm going to be 70 in a couple of months and I bought this Jeep Wrangler because I always wanted to own and drive a Jeep. With kids it wasn't practical but they are grown up and their kids love Grandpa's Jeep. So far it's been a ball! Except learning to put the top down and back up in a hurry. After a few weeks of trial and error (and some good zipper lubricant) I'm doing ok. But I love to jump in my Jeep in the morning and take off to work as well as putting the top down and torturing my wife with the wind in our hair on the weekends!
The Jeep is easy to Maintain and I'm always looking for ways to dress it up. Driving a Jeep takes a little adjustment after you have driven more conventional cars but I enjoy actually driving a car rather than just steering and pushing an accelerator. I coud do that with a golf cart.
