I've owned many vehicles over the years, including one other Jeep - a 1995 Wrangler. This 2006 Wrangler Unlimited is easily my favorite vehicle ever owned by far. Comfortable, way more quiet than old Wranglers, and I have zero doubts about the long-term capabilities of the 4.0 engine. I'll always own a Wrangler - they are a gateway to fun.
What I've always wanted!

I have always wanted a Jeep. I found mine on the Showroom Floor! Since moving down here to the warmer climate, I wanted a fun vehicle that I could use in the sun. My Jeep came with the Sahara Top and the soft top. I normally use the Sahara Top.
I had a stranger pull up next to me after I got it and threated my life if I didn't keep my Jeep in the same, perfect condition that he saw it in. I hope I don't dissapoint him!

Tough, simple, and honest vehicle. Very fun to drive. Lots of interior space, yet very maneuverable in crowded parking lots or on narrow trails. Convertibles are always cool, and this one does not disappoint.
Fuel economy. On-road live axle handling dynamics not for everybody. Many little areas poorly engineered, but nothing significant enough to be a deal breaker for me.
This is not a car and does not drive like one, but very fun to drive both on and off the road. Great value for the dollar if you are looking for something like this.
