2025 Jeep Wrangler
Great 4x4 with a manual transmission!

PROS
Weather Versatility

I would have given this 5 stars but I am also a Porsche owner, so the bar is set pretty high! Go anywhere regardless of the weather.

Visibility

Excellent visibility all around including the well placed and sized mirrors.

Ride and Handling

Even though it is a truck body on frame design with very rugged solid axles, the ride and handling are better than expected.

CONS
Technology and Entertainment

The Uconnect system can be problematic, although the dealer did fix a connector issue and that helped.

Braking

The brakes are good. The OEM tires on the Sport model are not particularly great. I already have my replacements selected when I need tires. Something similar to what they put on the Willy’s trim.

Wrangler: Where Power Meets Reliability

PROS
Ride and Handling

The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport offers an impressive combination of off-road capability and on-road handling. Its robust suspension and high ground clearance provide a smooth ride over rough terrain while still maintaining control and stability on highways.

Reliability

Known for its rugged construction, the Wrangler is built to last. Owners can count on its durability in various environments, which makes it a dependable choice for both daily driving and adventurous off-roading.

Power

With a powerful engine, the Wrangler Unlimited Sport delivers a satisfying performance both on-road and off. Whether climbing steep trails or merging onto the highway, the power is notable and enhances driving enjoyment.

CONS
Fuel Economy

Fuel efficiency is a common drawback for the Wrangler. Its boxy design and heavy build result in lower mpg compared to other vehicles in its class, which can lead to higher operating costs over time.

Seat Comfort

While the Jeep's seats are functional, they may lack the comfort desired for long trips. Aftermarket solutions may improve this lackluster aspect of the longstanding model.

Technology and Entertainment

The Wrangler's technology features can sometimes feel outdated compared to newer vehicles. While functional, the infotainment system might not offer the advanced features or connectivity options that modern drivers expect, such as wireless CarPlay.

It is important to remember factors such as driving style, weather conditions, and the use of features such as Eco mode can impact fuel efficiency. Fuel economy figures are based on EPA estimates for when vehicle sold as new. Fuel economy may vary for reasons like driving conditions and vehicle history. Unless specified, figures are for vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission. See fueleconomy.gov.
