The optima Kia is a great car and I plan to stay in the Kia line. Even on my next purchase. They have the best warranty in the car industry and they stand behind their product
I initially considered other makes and models first and the KIA was actually 3rd on the list. I started my search on Memorial Day and visited 3 or 4 dealerships. I looked at the other makes first and was impressed by some but didn't want to go with my first impressions. I went out three more times and visited a number of additional dealerships, some of which were specific to a particular make. Though I looked at a number of excellent vehicles, I continued to feel as if the KIA was equal to, if not somewhat superior to many of the other vehicles I was looking at. The search took me back to my original stop and new cars had recently arrived. My car was among them. 3 test drives later with it and other cars, my mind was made up. Comfort, style, features, gas mileage and overall value sealed the deal. It is a great ride. I feel in control while at the same time enjoying features of a much larger car. So far I am very satisfied, if not exstactic.
My Kia Optima has the smoothest ride of any car I have ever owned. It handles well too. I am enjoying the car much more than I thought I would. Even the sound system is great. My one wish is that I would like a little more leg room on the drivers side. I am 5'7 and I have the seat all the way back and I seem to sit closer than I am used to to the steering wheel and I cannot stretch my legs as much as I would like. Other than that this is a great car.
