Used 2007 Kia Rio in Dulles, VA
Reviews for 2007 Kia Rio
Bought the Rio primarily as a commuter car, with fuel economy in mind. Test drove similar compacts from Hyundai, GM, Honda, Nissan. Availability of basic models of the other cars was a factor - due to the popularity of these cars during the cash-for-clunkers incentive. The Rio handles freeway speeds without feeling like a compact. It has a solid feel. It's not quiet in the cab, but it's not loud or tinny either. Handling is good, acceleration fair. I'm considering upgrading from 14" to 15" wheels and tires for a bigger car feel. Easy to park with very good visibility and only a small blind spot. Mileage ranges from 29-34 with mostly highway driving. I won't keep it forever, but it suits my needs until I can afford an upgrade. I'll consider other Kias.
I love my car I just wish that it had curise control
Happy with my Rio
My 2007 Kia Rio has been driven about two thousand miles since it was purchased. It has performed flawlessly. Gas mileage approaches 35 MPG on the open road. 32 MPG around the suburban area where I live. It handles well in traffic. Parks easily and has good vision all around. I enjoy driving my Kia Rio. There has not been a single mechanical problem. Only a burned out back up light. The bulbs are easy to get to and change. I had to look to find the oil filter, but it is there at the rear of the engine's underside. It is not a muscle car and does not accelerate like a bolt of lightning. Smooth acceleration saves gas.
