2009 Kia RioYeseniaRed - Stone mountain, GA10/04/2010
I went looking for a small car that was comfortable and had power at the same time. The Kia Rio is it. Great value for the price and it's perfect for students and as a first car for anyone. The gas lasts a long time and I am always driving at least 6 days of the week and I only tank up about once every other week and I never have to put more than 20 in the tank to fill it up! even with todays rising gas prices.
Expected much more

-The car has absolutly no power to it
-some of the worse gas milage ive seen even against older cars
-consistantly having some sort of mechanical issues
-no cruise control
-can not handle trips into the mountains
-regret ever buying it
Cute little car a teenager

Its a cute little car. I Have no problems mechanically with it. I purposefully bought the base model and manual thinking I would get the best gas mileage as possible. Going about 75 MPH your RPM's run extremely high. I was bummed i have A/C but that's my own fault. But with all of that and driving on the interstate ( I commute about 99 miles one way to work) I only get about 26 MPG. Plus side, it only costs about 25 to fill up. Definitely don't want to drive it in any kind of snow or sleet. Don't think it would hold up very well. Overall its a good car starter car.
