I went looking for a small car that was comfortable and had power at the same time. The Kia Rio is it. Great value for the price and it's perfect for students and as a first car for anyone. The gas lasts a long time and I am always driving at least 6 days of the week and I only tank up about once every other week and I never have to put more than 20 in the tank to fill it up! even with todays rising gas prices.

Good little economy car. Really the only gripe is that it has no electric door locks or key fobs. You have to go around to each door to make sure its locked. It has a nice satellite radio with bluetooth and aux in and a usb port and they couldn't put a keyless entry in?
Nice little Rio

We bought a nice little Rio for my wife, and she loves it! It seems really well buit, and loooks great. It has a very small driver space, so a person over 5' 10" will be too cramped on longer drives, but no problem in town or short commutes.
The Rio only has 110 HP, so no jack-rabbit take-offs, but it does keep up on 75 mph interstate runs, and went up the mountain to Cripple Creek Colo. pretty easy (about 9,000 Ft.). The gas mileage is great, and with the small engine, you won't be as likely to speed.
Registered it with KIA motors for the 60/60,000 warranty, they seemed supportive, easy to contact.
