2010 Kia RioBear Cat - Southern California04/30/2011
Due to the sky rocketing gas prices and the fact that I drive about 100 miles a day, 5 days a week for work, I decided to look for something cheaper to operate than my Ford F-150. This little Kia RIO certainly fits the bill. Though it is a little less than impressive when it comes to acceleration, it more than makes up for it in MPG.

This car is a great car. It shifts seemlessly and has great control. It could do with a little better suspension and I was little dissapointed with its gas milage but it still gets between 26 and 28 mpg. Overall this is a great car. MY friends, family and I love it!

Its a cute little car. I Have no problems mechanically with it. I purposefully bought the base model and manual thinking I would get the best gas mileage as possible. Going about 75 MPH your RPM's run extremely high. I was bummed i have A/C but that's my own fault. But with all of that and driving on the interstate ( I commute about 99 miles one way to work) I only get about 26 MPG. Plus side, it only costs about 25 to fill up. Definitely don't want to drive it in any kind of snow or sleet. Don't think it would hold up very well. Overall its a good car starter car.
