After driving a 4-door Mazada Protege for years, the Kia Rio seems comfortable and familiar to me. It handles well and is a quiet ride. I like that I found one with a few customized features like tinted windows and custom interior. It's a small car, but still feels quite roomy. Although the manufacturer info says the car gets 38 mpg, I've found it's really more like 30 mpg in city driving - which I'm happy with. My only two gripes - I don't have cruise control which I find odd in a car with some customized features. Not sure if that's a standard Kia move. And the most annoying - the seatbelt bell!! It's not an electronic beep, but rather an actual tinny sounding bell that goes on far too long. Believe me I am never without my seatbeat. Put it on before you start it up because that bell sound gets burned into your brain. But, really, what a small issue. Otherwise, I'm liking my Kia!
I absolutely love my car. LOVE IT!!! Its cute, snappy and comfortable. I don't have electric windows and locks and I miss that terribly BUT it's ok, I still absolutely adore my car!!!! My K-I-A is really a B-M-W underneath!!! I love her and am completely satisfied. I bought her with 1374 miles last month. I love my car. I know I must sound crazy but my old car was very old and very scary. With my new car I have freedom, I can go places without worrying if I'm going to break down. And to top it all off she is quite cute!!! By the way....She is alllll white.
This is my 3rd Kia Rio and I love the car. It has great gas mileage, gas tank is less than 20 Dollar. I travel in this car, has enough space for groceries and suitcases. Drives smooth and get easy in parking spaces. Love the car, would not spend more money on bigger car, because I have everything I need in this one.
