My Kia Rondo has the 3rd row seating which I love. I have 6 grandchildren so now if I want to take them somewhere, I can do it. And when I don't need the space for them, I can fold the 3rd row down for extra cargo space. The gas mileage is excellent, it fits in my garage just like my 4 door Honda Accord did and the ride is smooth. What's pleasantly surprising is the head and leg room. The car looks small from the outside but the head and leg room is awesome! I even rode in the 3rd row seat myself and it was perfectly comfortable for an adult. Although I would say it is best suited for children. Overall, I did my homework and I'm extremely satisfied with the Kia Rondo LX. It is a great bang for your buck.
The car has the absolute perfect layout and is a fantastic value. I would like for the car to have tie-offs so that groceries don't go flying when I rip around a corner. The fittings are cheesey and pick up is not what one would hope, but I knew that when I bought the car. As examples, there is a groaning sound when I unlock all the doors, mirror movement is jerky, there are minor rattles, and an unsolid overall feeling. Also, the defroster actually kicks mist onto the windshield. However, it is a great car for what I can afford. I love the styling, and as I mentioned the layout makes it extremely practical for schlepping either people or building supplies.
I brought this car for my wife. She needed a reliable vehicle since she is a stay at home mom to our young son. This car is easy to handle, and has airbags all around the car's interior. Which is a plus when driving with a small child in the car. This car also has enough space for a growing family.
