This vehicle has major issues with the ESC causing the check engine light to come on and the fuel stop that happens with the ESC light. It has been a lot more trouble definitely than it's worth.

We bought ours in early March 2010 with about 36000 miles, just prior to a trip to Florida. During our trip we got a check engine light and car went into "limp home" mode. We restarted the car and it ran fine for our trip. Upon returning home we took it to the KIA Dealer and they replaced the throttle body assembly and problem was fixed. It was covered by warranty and it was fixed in just a couple of hours. The van drives real nice and has a lot of room, even for 2 adults and 5 children. We are very happy with the van to date. It has plenty of pickup, and is pleasing on the eyes. Had it not been for the problem we had just after we bought it we would have given 5 stars across the board. Also, I am 6'2" and the driver seat is just a little small, but not uncomfortable for long trips. We LOVE that the rear windows roll down.

Van runs well, has good pickup, large capacity hatch. We like the stow and go back seats. You do feel more road bumps than some other vehicles, but the van handles well. Roomy interior with plenty of cupholders. I wish the CD player held more than one CD. Our first non-American made vehicle. I'd still prefer to buy American, but the price, the reliability and the availability of the vehicle were the best fit for us at the time.
