We were cramming in 2 kids and a dog into an Outback before this so the extra room for us and all of our outdoor gear is a huge luxury. If you have small kids I highly recommend upgrading to the auto open side doors b'c the doors are a bit heavy for a small child to open. We have also owned a Jeep Commander which is similar in size and this drives way better and has lots more room. The only thing we had to give up was the 4-wheel drive. This is a great family vehicle at a price much cheaper than a Honda or Toyota.
Van runs well, has good pickup, large capacity hatch. We like the stow and go back seats. You do feel more road bumps than some other vehicles, but the van handles well. Roomy interior with plenty of cupholders. I wish the CD player held more than one CD. Our first non-American made vehicle. I'd still prefer to buy American, but the price, the reliability and the availability of the vehicle were the best fit for us at the time.
BOUGHT 2005 KIA SEDONN IN 2007. SHOPPED A LOT OF CAR LOTS. LOOK AT DODGE, FORD, CHEVY, PONTIAC, ETC. FOUND THE 2005 KIA, SEDONNA WITH 34500 MILES. WE OWNED A 2002 KIA SPECTRA. GOT CUSTODY OF TWO GRANDKIDS. SPECTRA WAS TO SMALL. GREAT CAR FOR TWO PEOPLE. BUT JUST NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR 2 ADULTS AND 2 GROWING KIDS. WE DROVE A SEDONNA FOR A WEEK WHEN WE HAD WORK DONE TO THE SPECTRA. FELL IN LOVE WITH THE VAN. BOUGHT THE 2005 KIA SEDONNA VAN. MILEAGE ON THE ROAD 23 MPG, IN TOWN 17 MPG. MADE THREE TRIPS FROM NOTHERN INDIANA TO ASHEBORO, NORTH CAROLINA. MILEAGE ROUND TRIP WAS 1500 MILES, VERY COMFORTABLE, LOTS OF ROOM, QUIET, EASY TO DRIVE, THE SAFETY FEATURES ARE GREAT AND HAS AN OUTSTANDING WARRANTY. THE WARRANTY IS BETTER(BEST) THAN ANY OTHER I COULD FIND. NOW WE ARE GOING TO UPGRADE TO A 2008 FOR MORE ROOM AND MORE SAFETY FEATURES. 2005 IS STILL RUNNING GREAT, WE JUST WANT TO UPGRADE. RECOMEND THE KIA VAN TO EVERYONE. GREAT VAN FOR THE MONEY CAMPARED TO THE USED HONDAS, TOYOTAS, CHEVIES, PONTIACS, NISSANS AND ANY OTHER VAN ON THE MARKET. SO BUY A KIA VAN, WHY WAIT!!
