Best minivan we saw and test drove and we tried all the top brands, saved Kia for last because we didn't think this would be our favorite but it was by far! I'm 6'3" and have plenty of room in the front with the seat all the way back AND in the seat behind it even with the front still all the way back, plus the technology and features and safety all combine for the perfect car for us.
Great mini van

I never really thought I would drive a mini van, but this one is great. True it's not a Honda or Toyota, but who needs those(I have a Toyota Highlander)this van was far less expensive and had the same features that both above mini vans have. If you are looking for a mini van with great bang for your bucks this is it. Test drive all the vans, but you'll like this one the best.
We loved the price we paid, not much else though.

The 100,000 warranty is great, if you are able to afford to keep up with the maintenance schedule. They have one chart in the owner's manual that seems like any other maintenance schedule, but if you look further you will find another maintenance chart if you reside anywhere that experiences any degree of humidity, which significantly increases the cost of owning the vehicle while trying to maintain the warranty.
We have had problems with the A/C..it's LOUD and the compressor has been replaced already under the warranty. The local dealership was super about performing the warranty work, but they really lay on the guilt about giving them the highest rating when KIA corporate calls to follow up, we experienced this when buying the car as well.
The brakes have squealed from day one and grind from time to time. My husband has replaced the pads once already and the grinding continued, husband(former mechanic) says that they may need slight adjustment since the original brake pads did not show enough wear to explain the grinding sound.
It's an ok car for what we paid, we hope to drive it through the warranty period, but in the future this car will not be on our list of potential vehicles.
