The vehicle has good power as I just came out of an Astro with powerful 4.3L engine. It handles great and is easy to get in and out of for the kids. It is longer than our Astro and Ford Windstar so if you want to be able to open the back hatch up all the way with your garage door closed you had better measure before buying to make sure you have room in your garage. The seat material though cloth does not appear that it will last the life of the vehicle. The material in our Astro van was tough and after 14 years still looked like new. This material is some sort of polyester or other man-made material that is very clingy and grabs all sorts of lint etc. Other than that it is a great vehicle and my wife loves it.
I like the car just a little concerned about the battery. The 2 year old car had an aftermarket battery already. According to Kia it requires a "KIA" battery as we found out it left us stranded a few times with a dead battery. Kia replaced with a Kia battery and haven't had an issue in 3 weeks. Other than that the car has been great.
Saftey, value and comfort. The ease of use of the van is outstanding. The technology and innovations in this van ate amazing. After 2 months we are still discovering all the little things Kia has added that make this van so easy to drive and park. The saftey features are to many to list all of them. What a joy to drive. More features than we thought we could afford, more luxury and more joy than we thought we would get for the price. Safe, comfortable, and fun.
