But when my Oldsmobile Silhouette broke down, I need another van rather quickly because I have 3 small children. Well let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. This Kia Sedona handles very well on the road and it has plenty of room for my kids and all their stuff. This van has been a pleasure to drive.

The 2 year old car had an aftermarket battery already. According to Kia it requires a "KIA" battery as we found out it left us stranded a few times with a dead battery. Kia replaced with a Kia battery and haven't had an issue in 3 weeks. Other than that the car has been great.

The technology and innovations in this van ate amazing. After 2 months we are still discovering all the little things Kia has added that make this van so easy to drive and park. The saftey features are to many to list all of them. What a joy to drive. More features than we thought we could afford, more luxury and more joy than we thought we would get for the price. Safe, comfortable, and fun.

Transmission: Automatic Color:Black Interior Color: Gray Average Vehicle Review: (4.5 reviews) We were cramming in 2 kids and a dog into an Outback before this so the extra room for us and all of our outdoor gear is a huge luxury. If you have small kids I highly recommend upgrading to the auto open side doors b'c the doors are a bit heavy for a small child to open. We have also owned a Jeep Commander which is similar in size and this drives way better and has lots more room. The only thing we had to give up was the 4-wheel drive. This is a great family vehicle at a price much cheaper than a Honda or Toyota.

I'm 6'3" and have plenty of room in the front with the seat all the way back AND in the seat behind it even with the front still all the way back, plus the technology and features and safety all combine for the perfect car for us.

Love this Kia!

I never would have purchased a Van but this one has it all! I love the gas mileage, the room for my family, the smooth ride, the features. I even am happy with the service level Kia has shown in taking care of it.

Lots of quirks for 19,000 miles

the service engine light went on 3 different times within the first 100 miles we drove it. The "tire pressure" warning light is going on, but playing with pressure gauges and ensuring proper inflation several times hasn't shut it off. The rear trunk latch has some sort of poor design; it takes an extremely hard slam (im a 6 foot man and I really have to wham it) to get it to secure. Otherwise, the "rear hatch ajar" light comes on after you are backing out of your driveway and the first forward momentum moves that rear door a bit. I dislike the arm rests for the driver and front passenger. They are really narrow, and they pivot very tightly, requiring a bit too much effort. The "economy" light is a stupid distraction in stop and go traffic. This light is telling you, when lit, that your speed and acceleration patterns will optimize your gas mileage. This is nice for highway driving, but the little green light flashing on and off....placed prominently next to the speedometer...is not good placemetn and is distracting. The horn is WEAK. A vw bug or a miata have a more attention getting sound.
