The car itself is fine, but the remote entry has not worked right since the day I bought it. The back door locks keep opening and shutting repeatedly, as if the back door locks have a mind of their own. We simply don't use the back doors at all, as it is too difficult to get in and out based on the fact that the locks go biserk each time you try to use them. The tire pressure monitoring system light is on as a warning light about 75% of the time too. It's a quirky little car with a wiring problem that has become a headache.
We purchased a 2008 Kia Spectra and immediately upon driving it thought this was a great car, it handles very well and has alot of leg room in the back seat. Our Spectra has everything you'd want inside, air, CD, power window & door locks, and locked gas cap, and gets about 32 MPG and that was a great selling point for us. Kia has great warranty packages that cover 10 yrs or 100,000 miles and also include free car washes for life when ever you want and you can get free oil changes also, all you pay is for the oil, its the best car we have bought in a long time and we highly recommend the Kia and we loved it so much we bought another one for my husband, the Rio, its alittle smaller but better on gas and handles very well, great little car for the money.
I absolutely LOVE my new spectra! I purchased it about a month ago and it was a very smart decision. Of course this is my second car to own and the first one was a hand-me-down from my parents, but I have received so many compliments on how roomy and great it is! It is GREAT on gas as well, I love filling it up, because it's so cheap! It has a very big trunk and an aux jack to play your iPod or MP3 (my FAVORITE feature). My boyfriend was skeptical about the car, but after he thoroughly checked it over, he was pleasantly suprised at it's very good quality! If you are considering this vehicle and are on a budget this car is perfect! You really get your money's worth!
