This sport utility vehicle lives up to the name as it is truly utilized on a daily basis, especially with a family. Having 6 cylinders it can be used for hauling just about anything whether inside the vehicle or pulling a trailor. All the seats, including the front passenger, fold flat for optimal hauling. With the backs of all the seats consisting of hard plastic you don't have to be afraid to haul down and dirty materials and then easily wipe clean in order to haul your precious baby gear. This vehicle has all kinds of storage, especially cup holders in the doors, in the center console and in the rear. There is a large glovebox, center console storage and storage in the doors as well as a "secret" storage area over the spare tire. Plenty of lights adorn the interior and the sound system is great for blasting your favorite heavy metal or quiet lullabyes for the children. With all of this said the safety rating is nothing to snuff at. My insurance actually decreased after purchasing this vehicle even though it was much newer. This is just an all around great utility vehicle for the single outdoorsman or the family.
I'm coming from a 2010 Nissan 370z. It was a great car; fun, fast and unfortunately fiscally irresponsible. I came to Carmax to see what they would offer (I also bought it from them). They gave me back EXACTLY what I paid for it. Treat your cars well and they will treat you well. My situation had changed. I am thinking longterm with kids and I also have a dog. I needed more room, and started looking at SUVs. I almost passed this car up because it just didn't have the same cool factor as my old car. But it felt comfortable (6'6 guy here), and had plenty of room for everything. The car drove fairly well. No complaints yet after 6 months. Better on gas than my previous cars. One downside is that there is no AUX connection.
Lots of room in back, drives smooth, quiet on the inside when running, minimal road nosie
