My bicycle had better shock absorbers. It is the roughest riding car I have ever owned. Also, the right outside marrow is places so that it is very difficult to see where I am parking if I turn right into a parking space. I do like the ease of getting in and out.

I LOVE the Kia Sportage!!! I had a 1999 Kia Sportage that I bought used with 14,000 miles on it (it was a demo car that the dealer drove for 1 year) and I never had to have it worked on. My Sportage now has over 175,000 and finally died in Nov of 2006 because of my own neglance. I am hard on cars. Not very good with general maintenance. Kids are in club sports so we drove that thing from the Coast of Texas up to Nebraska most every weekend for 6 years without a problem in the world. The only problem that I ever had was the seat belts had a recall that I never got fixed. And the thermostat in the radiator went out that I never fixed until it was too late (I warped the heads - my fault!). I would get aroud 25 - 30 mpg. And the kids never complained about the space in the back (ages 9-16) and being an outdoorsy type person it hauled plenty of bags of concrete & wood. (sheets of plywood won't fit inside w/o smashing the driver but I hauled plenty of 2X4's & landscaping tembers) However, these newer Sportages are a little bigger than the one I have. All in all for a $10,000 car we got great use out of it. Finances willing we will be getting another Sportage!!
What a steal!

I could not believe this one time owner car only had 15,613 miles on it when I bought it. I am short, so I like that all of the dashboard items are easy for me to reach and I do not have any blind spots. My husband is 6 feet and said it was comfortable for him to ride as a passenger
