If you want luxury, yes. I have read many of the reviews however on the maintenance of these vehicles and Im hoping that the 2012 model did not have nearly the problems other years had. So far, the vehicle has been a dream. However, I have noticed this pecking noise from the engine and when I brought to the attention of mechanics, they said that was normal for my vehicle that has all the injectors. I am also concerned about the electrical system - everything is electrical which is amazing on one hand but I know can be expensive on the other. So far though, Ive only owned this used vehicle 3 months and I am still very happy I purchased it.Pros
- Technology and Entertainment: The technology is amazing and all at your fingertips. I love all the bells and whistles.
- Weather Versatility: I am excited for inclement weather because this vehicle is ready to take on any kind of weather
- Seat Comfort: The heated seats are amazing. I am extremely comfortable as a driver but must say the passenger seat isnt quite as comfortable. The headrest portion of the seat seems too high but still luxury heated leather seats are a plus
Cons
- Cost to Maintain: Ive only heard the horror stories and so far, Ive had no problems with my 2012 RR.
- Reliability: Im concerned about RR reputation. So far, though, it's been reliable with the exception of replacing the battery within 3 months of buying it used from Carmax. HOWEVER, Carmax reimbursed fully. I replaced the battery with a GEL Battery and it starts every time like a dream
- Ride and Handling: For a luxury car, the ride feels similiar to my sports car. I feel many of the bumps and pot holes in the road. The handling is very nice though. Solid vehicle.

Very comfortable and quiet ride. We previously drove a Honda Pilot, and also own a Lexus SUV hybrid, and this Range Rover Evoque is favorable in comparison to both cars. Car has lots of get up, lots of toys and safety features some of which I have not had need for nor probably even know about yet. I feel confortable it the car (seating comfort) and unlike other cars have little difficulty in getting in and out in terms of hitting head etc.Pros
- Cabin Noise: Very quiet
- Ride and Handling: Easy handling and very smooth cornering and just driving
- Seat Comfort: I have driven multiple hundred mile rides, and comfort of seats is great for the long run
Cons
- Fuel Economy: I have gotten about 19 city and 25 road which is ok, but not great since it is a pretty small car
- Interior Space: I was spoiled by larger SUVs is about only reason I wish for a little more storage room and places for emergency kits and things like that
Loved it during our test drive, but little things like cup holder design, console storage design, lack of memory seats, etc. have started to wear on me; however, I'm always delighted at the gas pump. ...
